Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

Nifty continues to climb a wall of worry as it looks to be in the final leg of its rally before heading for a correction.

NEW DELHI: Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 1400.52 crore), Kaynes Technology India Ltd.(Rs. 1142.85 crore), PayTM(Rs. 1100.94 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1040.29 crore), RIL(Rs. 780.17 crore), HAL(Rs. 743.60 crore), Max Financial(Rs. 711.93 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 687.41 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 682.06 crore) and Bharti Airtel(Rs. 647.08 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday’s session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 84.25 points up at 18244.2, while BSE Sensex rose 274.12 points to 61418.96.

In the Nifty index,

.(up 2.67 per cent), .(up 1.68 per cent), .(up 1.61 per cent), .(up 1.43 per cent) and .(up 1.31 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.11 per cent), .(down 0.75 per cent), .(down 0.57 per cent), .(down 0.42 per cent) and .(down 0.22 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
